Role of Rider
A rider plays a crucial role in our supply chain, facilitating the collection and delivery process between farmhouses and retailers or consumers.
Train riders: Proper rider training is essential because they act as intermediaries between farmers and retailers. The training program covers documentation, quality assurance, and conflict resolution.
The rider's tasks include:
-
Receiving Notices:
Upon receiving collection or delivery notices from the admin, the rider mobilizes transport to the designated farm location according to the established schedule. -
Collecting Farm Produce:
The rider collects farm produce based on the collection notice, ensuring adherence to quality standards outlined in standard operating procedures (SOPs). -
Submitting Collection Receipts:
After collecting the produce, the rider submits collection receipts to the admin. -
Delivering to Retailers/Consumers:
Following instructions, the rider transports the produce to retailers or consumers, ensuring both the quantity and quality match the collected items. -
Submitting Delivery Receipts:
The rider collaborates with retailers to submit delivery receipts to the admin. -
Handling Transportation Bills:
The rider also submits transportation bills to the admin for payment. -
Ensuring Fair Compensation:
We prioritize timely and fair payment to the rider, ensuring their satisfaction.
